Abstract:
In the context of the digital intelligence era, the evaluation of physical education(PE) teachers' digital literacy has become a crucial prerequisite for advancing the digital transformation of physical education. The value of evaluation lies in facilitating accurate diagnosis and improvement of PE teachers' digital literacy, promoting the efficient application of digital technology in PE classrooms, and optimizing the training system for PE teachers in the digital intelligence era. Such evaluation should follow a logic of evidence-based practice—shifting from empirical judgment to data-driven approaches; a logic of structural integration—shifting from one-way evaluation to multimodal evaluation; and a logic of iterative improvement—shifting from static assessment to dynamic refinement. On this basis, this paper proposes a framework for assessing PE teachers' digital literacy consisting of six dimensions—evaluation objectives, participants, content, methods, tools, and outcomes, with the aim of providing a systematic pathway and practical basis for the scientific evaluation and continuous improvement of PE teachers' digital literacy.
